About this range
Hi vis jackets, printed and embroidered in our own Limerick factory
EN ISO 20471 certified jackets, bombers, parkas, softshells and bodywarmers from Portwest, SIR Safety and Supertouch, decorated here on the Dock Road. We have been doing it since 1994. No outsourcing, no third party, no waiting on someone else’s schedule.
The jacket is the piece of kit your crew actually lives in from October to April. It is the layer that has to be seen at 7am on a dark site, survive a winter of wear, and still carry your name legibly by spring. That is why the decoration matters as much as the garment.

Choose by brand
Portwest
The name every site manager already knows. Broad range, consistent sizing across the whole catalogue, and the easiest brand to reorder against in two years’ time when a new starter needs the same jacket. The safe specification when you are writing a kit list for a contract.
SIR Safety
Italian made and a genuine step up in cut and finish. Softshells that sit properly rather than hanging square, better zips, better fabric hand. Worth the difference where your crew is client facing, or where the jacket is doing a brand job as well as a safety one.
Supertouch
The volume workhorse. Bombers, parkas, two tone bombers and reversible bodywarmers at the price point that makes kitting out thirty people realistic. What most Irish sites are wearing, and what we ship most of.
Choose by job
Bomber jacket
The default site jacket. Quilted lining, storm cuffs, waterproof outer. Breathable versions are worth the upgrade for anyone working hard rather than standing at a gate.
Softshell
Wind resistant and showerproof without the bulk. The one hi vis jacket that takes embroidery cleanly, so it is the pick for supervisors, engineers and anyone in and out of a van and a meeting on the same day.
Parka
Full length coverage for crews standing still outdoors. Traffic management, marshalling, yard and gate work through an Irish winter.
Bodywarmer and gilet
Core warmth with free arms, and the cheapest way to get a whole team compliant and branded. Reversible versions give you a hi vis side and a plain side in one garment.
Printed hi vis jackets
Print is the right call on any jacket with a waterproof membrane, which is most bombers and every parka. Nothing pierces the fabric, so the waterproofing stays intact and the garment keeps performing the way it was certified to.
It is also the only realistic way to put a large logo or a company name across the back at a size that reads from across a site. Screen print for volume runs, DTF and heat transfer (digital print) for smaller quantities and full colour artwork with detail that stitching cannot hold.
Chest, sleeve and back are all available. On a hi vis garment the logo has to sit in the background fabric and clear of the retroreflective tape, so we work the placement around the banding rather than across it.
Embroidered hi vis jackets
Embroidery is the more considered finish and it outlasts everything. Stitching does not crack, fade or peel, and it still looks right after a winter that would have finished off a print.
The one rule is fabric. We embroider softshells, fleece lined jackets, bodywarmers and gilets, where the garment is thick enough to carry stitching and there is no taped membrane to compromise. On a fully waterproof jacket we will normally steer you to print, or embroider a detachable fleece liner instead so the outer shell stays sealed.
Left chest is standard. A name or a job title on the opposite chest costs very little and it stops jackets going missing.

Common questions
Can you embroider a waterproof hi vis jacket?
Not usually, and we will tell you so rather than take the order. An embroidery needle puts thousands of holes through the fabric, which breaks the waterproof membrane and defeats the point of the jacket. On waterproof bombers and parkas we print. On softshells, bodywarmers and fleece lined styles we embroider.
Does adding a logo affect the EN ISO 20471 certification?
It can if it is done carelessly. The standard sets minimum areas of fluorescent background fabric and retroreflective tape, so a logo that covers the banding or eats too much of the background can pull a Class 3 garment below its rating. We place decoration in the background fabric and clear of the tape, and we will flag it if a requested size or position causes a problem.
What is the minimum order?
No minimum order. You can mix brands, styles, colours and sizes across the order to reach the quantity, so softshells for the supervisors and bombers for the crew still count as one order.
How long does it take?
Dispatched within 5 – 8 working days of artwork approval. Everything is decorated here in Limerick, so nothing sits waiting on a third party.
Class 2 or Class 3?
Class 3 is the requirement for anyone working on or near a live road, and it is what most main contractors specify as standard. A full sleeve jacket with banding on the body and both sleeves gets you there. Class 2 covers a bodywarmer or gilet, which is fine over a Class 2 or 3 garment but not on its own near traffic.
Can we reorder the same jacket next year?
Yes. Your logo is digitised and your artwork is held on file, so a repeat order needs nothing from you but the sizes. There is no setup charge second time around.
